Hello and Welcome to my website. My name is Debopriyo Bhattacharya. I completed my Masters Degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University . I have a penchant for technology, finance and movies.
Currently, I work in the Device Subscriptions & Bundling team at Amazon in Seattle. Download my resume from here. You can contact me through this form or email me.
Large projects may consist of hundreds or even thousands of packages and perhaps several million lines of code. One change in any one file may end up requiring modifications to all the files that depend on it. This is why it is important to minimize inter dependency among files, we need to partition code into relatively small parts and make it more modular.
This tool shows the dependency and strong components from selected C# files.
In this project, a social interaction network was constructed using data from the platform Twitter and then the key findings obtained from the network analysis were presented. The hashtag used for the purpose was '#FakeNews' and the results were simulated using Gephi.
Finally we are able to determine accounts with bias towards political parties that tend to tweet as a group.
I used a Convolutional Neural Network for the iNaturalist Challenge 2017 to classify almost 5,000 species of animals and plants.
I applied data augmentation, automated hyperparameter tuning, and explored the use of the Inceptionv3 architecture. I also explored automated hyperparameter tuning, and other optimizations.
In this project, I live stream tweets using twitter API for a speficic keyword or hashtag in this case '#IndvsAus' to see a map of the locations from where the tweets originated using the latitude and longitude information available in the tweets.
I have used cartopy and tweepy python libraries for the plotting and getting the tweets respectively.
During the summer of 2019 I interned at Health Catalyst. I worked on the Catalyst Clinical Informatics software development team to create a data profiling tool using C# and setup an opensource EHR system on azure that can be used to teach and train users
My initial summer internship got extended and I worked remotely during my fall semester.
I was responsible for tutoring undergraduate student-athletes: Math subjects(Probability & Statistics,Discrete Maths) ; Computer subjects(Data Structure & Algorithms,Computer & Network Security). I help them with not only with understanding their course work but also preparing for their assignments, exams and reviewing their progress.
During the summer of 2017 I studied about Convolutional Neural Networks and worked on image classification project under the guidance of Prof. Fernando Perez-Cruz.

I have been facinated by computers from a very young age. I aspired to be a versatile software engineer hence, I decided to pursue a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Apart from engineering, I enjoy learning about corporate finance and cryptocurrency. My research interests lie at the intersection of data science and computer security. I am a huge fan of MOOCs and spend considerable amount of time on Coursera and Udemy which have helped me learn and get better at topics that really interest me.
I love to binge on new movies and TV shows. Suits is my favorite TV show closely followed by Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. In my free time, I like to play table tennis, FPS games and work out.
